July Reminded Me Why Insurance Conversations Matters ❤️

July 2026 was a month I will never forget.

It was a month filled with both heartbreak and celebration.

I unexpectedly said goodbye to two people who meant so much to me. Attending two funerals so close together was incredibly difficult, and the loss is something my family and I are still processing.

In the middle of that, my wife and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary. We were able to pause, reflect, and celebrate the love, joy, peace, and memories we have built together over the past two decades. It was a reminder that even during life's hardest moments, there are still reasons to celebrate.

Then, just before the month came to an end, I found myself in the emergency room.

None of those events were on my calendar.

What gave me peace was knowing we had prepared for life's unexpected moments.

Our life insurance helped provide financial support for the funeral expenses. Our supplemental health coverage will help with costs related to my emergency room visit. While insurance cannot remove the emotional impact of life's challenges, having the right coverage can help reduce financial stress during an already difficult time.

Experiences like these are one of the reasons I have the conversations I do with individuals, families, and business owners every day. The conversation is rarely about expecting the worst. It is about protecting the people and the life you have worked hard to build.

August is bringing an exciting new chapter for our agency.

We have officially moved!

Our New Office

Our new office is only two blocks north of our previous location in the Riverside Office Plaza.

You will find us in the last building on the east side of the complex, directly across from Tempe Town Lake.

There is plenty of convenient parking, and our office is located on the first floor. Once you come inside, head to the right of the water fountain. We are just across from the waterfall.

As with any move, we appreciate your patience while we get everything settled into our new space.

ABOUT TEZ ADAMS

Shout out to all valley residents in Tempe, Phoenix, Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, Scottsdale, Avondale, Goodyear, Surprise and all those I didn't list - including those at Arizona State University, GCU, PVCC or MCC.

Tez Adams is a native of Little Rock, AR, but has been a resident of Arizona since 2013. He is married to Janet, and they have one son, Joshua in addition to Winston – their Golden doodle. As a family, they enjoy spending time with one another traveling and giving back to their community in various ways. Joshua is now college sophomore (Forks Up!) - so I guess now we are supporters of Arizona State University Sun Devils! He is a Barrett Scholar, which we are very PROUD to say.

Tez has over 20 years of insurance and financial services experience, having served in various leadership roles in the industry and community alike. Tez is a PROUD member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Tempe Leadership – Class 36 alum, and member of the Tempe South Rotary Club.

Tez can often be found supporting his community through numerous volunteer opportunities. He holds a master’s in insurance from Olivet College, The Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Claims (AIC) designation from The Institutes and a bachelor’s in finance from The University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He is licensed in property and casualty, life, health, flood and financial services products.
