In my May update, I posted about visiting national parks and all the wonder things they have to offer. I mentioned places in Arizona like the Grand Canyon, Saguaro National Park and even Papago Park - right here in the heart of Tempe.

I did get the opportunity to visit Papago Park and Hole in the Rock this spring and a few visits to the Superstition Mountains, including Spook Hill. Talk about some good workouts and sights! I got the visit the Black Hills in South Dakota - talk about beautiful sights. It is a must see, you will not be disappointed. Mount Rushmore had never been on my list of Must-see locations, but I would certainly recommend the visit. The mountain ranges, the views, the weather (in spring/summer), the falls, the creeks, the trees, the grass...I think I might have liked it a lot.

Let's see if I can get in some water activities besides the pool, like - kayaking, paddle-boarding or even Salt River Tubing - who knows.

I have Josh doing an internship with us this summer, so when you call or stop by - say, "HI Josh! Your dad told me you are loving you summer internship." :-)

*Juneteenth is celebrated annually on June 19th to commemorate the emancipation of enslaved people in the US. First celebrated in TX - 1865, after the last enslaved peoples were set free under the terms of the 1862 Emancipation Proclamation.

Tez Adams is a native of Little Rock, AR, but has been a resident of Arizona since 2013. He is married to Janet, and they have one son, Joshua in addition to Winston – their Golden doodle. As a family, they enjoy spending time with one another traveling and giving back to their community in various ways. Joshua is now college freshman (Forks Up!) - so I guess now we are supporters of Arizona State University Sun Devils! He is a Barrett Scholar, which we are very PROUD to say.

Tez has over 20 years of insurance and financial services experience, having served in various leadership roles in the industry and community alike. Tez is a PROUD member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Tempe Leadership – Class 36 alum, and member of the Tempe South Rotary Club.

Tez can often be found supporting his community through numerous volunteer opportunities. He holds a master’s in insurance from Olivet College, The Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Claims (AIC) designation from The Institutes and a bachelor’s in finance from The University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He is licensed in property and casualty, life, health, and financial services products.
